How to Measure Your Axle

When your pickup sits higher than your trailer, this bar lowers the ball by 4" to bring the tongue back to level. A level trailer spreads its weight evenly over its axles and stays steadier on the road.

It pulls utility trailers, enclosed trailers, boat trailers and ATV trailers up to 7,500 lb. Its 4" drop suits full-size pickups, whose receiver often sits higher than the trailer coupler.

Its 2" x 2" shank fits any Class III or IV 2" hitch receiver. Add a ball with a 1" shank and a 5/8" pin and you are ready to hook up.
