How to Measure Your Axle

Repair your trailer with this Dexter EZ-Lube 3500 lb straight axle. Axle only, including the tube, spindles, electrical wiring inside the tube and brake flanges. 68" hub face, 5-year warranty.

This 3500 lb straight axle replaces a bent or rusted axle under a utility trailer, a boat trailer or an enclosed trailer. Measure the hub face width of the old axle to order the right size, here 68".

It is also used to build a new trailer or to convert a trailer to tandem axles. Spring seats are included, not welded, so your welder can place them exactly to match your springs.

Brake flanges are already in place to install brakes, and the electrical wire runs inside the tube, safe from rocks and road salt. EZ-Lube spindles can be greased without removing the hubs, which makes seasonal maintenance simpler.
