Free shipping is available for most orders of $150.00 or more before taxes, shipped within Canada, when items weigh less than 100 lb (45 kg) and meet the dimensional weight limits set by carriers. Items exceeding 100 lb or those that surpass those standards are not eligible for free shipping. In such cases, a custom quote will be provided before any shipment.
📍 Regions Requiring a Custom Shipping Quote
Due to long distances, high fuel costs, limited accessibility, and partial carrier coverage, free shipping usually does not apply to orders shipped to the following provinces:
British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Nova Scotia.
Some remote areas of Ontario and Quebec may also require a custom shipping quote.
Additionally, free shipping does not apply to regions considered remote by carriers, including Newfoundland and Labrador, Nunavut, Northwest Territories, Yukon, Nunavik, and other isolated zones. These regions are defined as such by the carriers, not by Groupe.Expert.
📦 Exclusions and Additional Fees
When free shipping does not apply or additional charges are required (excess weight, specialized services, restricted access, etc.), a custom quote will be provided before shipping.
Your order will be placed on hold until you approve and pay the proposed fees.
If you decline, you may cancel the order. The refund will be issued minus the transaction fees incurred at the time of payment, as outlined further in this policy.
Rest assured, we always aim to provide the most competitive rate for your area, with personalized service tailored to your needs.
In the event of absence at the time of delivery or unjustified refusal of the package, re-delivery or return fees may apply, unless the parcel is damaged or non-compliant.

🚛 Specialized or Combined Transport
Some situations may require special services (combined road/marine transport, temporary warehousing, special handling).
Fees for such services will be communicated on a case-by-case basis.

⏱️ Processing and Delivery Times
Orders are generally shipped within 1 to 2 business days after payment is received, except in cases of exceptional circumstances beyond our control.
The total delivery time usually ranges between 2 to 5 business days, except for:
- Custom-built trailer axles
- Special orders
- Trailers
We use the services of Midland, Day & Ross, Western Canada Express, Guilbault, GLS, Canpar, UPS, FedEx, Purolator, as well as any other carrier at our discretion, depending on the destination, dimensions, and weight of the package.
A tracking number will be provided as soon as your order is shipped.
📸 Damaged Package or Issue Upon Delivery
Please contact us promptly if your package appears damaged. Photos will help us assist you more efficiently.
If the package is visibly damaged upon delivery, please refuse it directly with the carrier. We will follow up to ensure you receive your item in the best possible condition.
⏳ Responsibility and Delays
We cannot be held responsible for delivery delays caused by carriers, weather conditions, strikes, or any other event beyond our control.

🔁 Refunds for Cancellations Before Shipment
If an order is cancelled at the customer's request after payment, and Groupe.Expert has complied with its terms of sale, the transaction fees incurred at the time of payment (credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal or other methods via our integrated payment gateway) will not be refunded, unless previously agreed upon with the customer or at our discretion.
This rule was implemented in 2023, following a new policy from the payment provider. These fees are charged to us as soon as the transaction is completed, and are not refunded to us, even if the order is cancelled.
This applies in particular, but not exclusively, in cases where:
- The order includes additional delivery fees in accordance with our shipping policy (remote area, surcharge, specialized services, etc.);
- The customer did not review the clearly displayed shipping terms on our website.
These fees amount to 2.9% of the total order, plus $0.30 per transaction. They represent the actual fees charged by our payment provider (PayPal) and are never collected for profit.
We strongly encourage every customer to read our shipping policy carefully before completing a purchase, as checkout implies acceptance of these conditions. No full refund can be demanded when these fees were clearly disclosed and are applicable.
